Job Duties and Responsibilities;

  • Customer Communication: Proactively engage with policyholders via telephone or other appropriate communication channels to remind them of upcoming policy renewals.
  • Document Handling: Prepare and dispatch renewal reminders and notices to designated clients in a timely manner.
  • Follow-Up: Monitor the progress of policy renewals and ensure that all client inquiries related to renewals are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Data Management: Maintain and regularly update the client database, to accurately reflect policy statuses, communication history, and follow-up schedules.
  • Reporting: Support the preparation of weekly and monthly reports detailing renewal progress, customer engagement metrics, and any identified issues or concerns.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with sales and customer service teams to address client concerns and ensure swift resolution of issues.
  • Customer Support: Provide clients with accurate information regarding policy terms, coverage options, and available payment methods.
  • Cross-Selling Opportunities: Identify and pursue opportunities for cross-selling or upselling additional insurance products during renewal-related interactions, based on individual customer needs.
  • Compliance: Ensure all communications and related processes comply with applicable industry regulations and internal company policies.

Qualifications / Pre-requisites / Requirements for the position;

  • Executive:
    • Degree/Special Degree/Professional Qualification or Equivalent related to the functional area from a University/Institute approved by the UGC with minimum 03 years’ experience in similar capacity.
  • Officer:
    • Passed G.C.E A/L with 03 Main Subjects in one sitting (excluding General English & Optional Subjects) AND Passed G.C.E O/L with Credit passes for Mathematics, English, Sinhala/Tamil (within two sittings) with minimum 01 year experience in similar capacity.
    • Excellent communication skills in Sinhala or Tamil and English.
    • Should possess a presentable and positive attitude, a pleasing and outgoing personality, a customer-oriented mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and a winning attitude.
    • Age is preferably below 36.
