Job Description

JOB ROLE

  • Manage end-to-end import control, including reconciliation, payments (duty, freight, insurance, clearance), and coordination with customs and regulatory bodies (SLSI, TRCSL, SLSEA, Import & Export Control).
  • Source and evaluate vendors, negotiate terms, obtain quotations, and manage procurement documentation.
  • Track orders, coordinate direct deliveries and courier shipments, and ensure timely receipt of goods.
  • Monitor stock levels, analyze requirements based on BOQ, and allocate inventory data for internal meetings.
  • Maintain the import registry, shipment trackers, and procurement records for reporting and management reviews.
  • Visit customs, clearing agents, warehouses, and relevant authorities as directed by the supervisor.
  • Provide administrative support to the supply chain team, including scheduling, reporting, and presentation preparation.
  • Support cost-saving initiatives and process improvements within the supply chain function.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Fully or partial completion of Diploma level or certificate level qualification in Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management or any other relevant area.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in documentation.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
