Our state-of-the-art production facility is situated in Seeduwa and the corporate office is at Rajagiriya.
We are in search of a dynamic individual to join our team for the role of Safety Executive.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement workplace safety policies and procedures in compliance with company and legal requirements.
- Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
- Organize and conduct safety training and awareness programs for employees.
- Investigate workplace incidents and accidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and maintain emergency response systems, including fire prevention and safety equipment.
- Conduct internal safety audits and ensure compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- NEBOSH certification or equivalent professional qualification in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Safety / SHE role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Sound knowledge of occupational health & safety regulations, risk assessment and incident investigation procedures.
- Good communication, training and coordination skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and report preparation.
