FINISHING MANAGER (BOTTOM WEAR)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all finishing operations for bottom wear production.
- Ensure garments meet required quality standards and buyer specifications before shipment.
- Oversee processes such as thread trimming, ironing/pressing, washing, stain removal, and packing.
- Coordinate with production, quality assurance, and merchandising teams to meet delivery deadlines.
- Monitor finishing line efficiency and implement improvements to enhance productivity.
- Handle final inspections and ensure AQL standards are maintained.
- Ensure proper handling of garments to avoid damages during finishing.
- Manage workforce, allocate tasks, and monitor team performance.
- Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards.
- Prepare reports related to production output, quality issues, and shipment status.
Individual Profile
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in garment finishing, with strong exposure to bottom wear.
- Good knowledge of finishing techniques, washing processes, and garment handling.
- Strong understanding of quality standards and inspection systems (AQL).
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements and factory best practices.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, ERP/HRIS systems preferred).
