Role Overview
The Senior Procurement Executive will be responsible for ensuring efficient and timely procurement of raw materials related to Industrial Tyre manufacturing, engineering spares, consumables, and capital items required for uninterrupted factory operations. The role supports cost optimization, supplier development, and strict compliance with regulatory and company procurement standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Process factory purchase requisitions from PR to GRN within stipulated timelines.
- Negotiate competitive pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Sourcing of key raw materials including rubber compounds, chemicals, carbon materials, agricultural inputs, packaging, machinery, spares, and logistics services.
- Introduce and evaluate new vendors while maintaining approved supplier lists.
- Ensure zero stock-outs attributable to procurement delays.
- Support urgent and breakdown-related procurement requirements.
- Prepare procurement reports and track savings and operational KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements including BOI, TIEP, IECD, and Customs regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 4–6 years’ experience in procurement within Industrial Tyre manufacturing environment.
- Experience in factory-based procurement operations will be an added advantage.
- Strong negotiation, coordination, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office applications.
- High integrity and ability to work under pressure.
