WE ARE LOOKING FOR SUITABLE, QUALIFIED, DYNAMIC AND SELF-MOTIVATED PERSONS FILL IN THE FOLLOWING VACANCY.
INTERNAL AUDITOR
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated professional to strengthen our internal controls, improve financial governance and support management in enhancing operational efficiency across the Group.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct internal audits across all business units and project sites.
- Review financial transactions, cash management procedures and accounting records.
- Verify compliance with company policies, SOPs and financial controls.
- Evaluate operational risks and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Monitor inventory controls, fixed assets, fuel management and procurement activities.
- Review debtor and creditor balances and identify financial irregularities.
- Perform branch and site audits covering crusher plants, quarry operations, asphalt plants, ready-mix plants, workshops and construction projects.
- Prepare audit findings, management reports and corrective action recommendations.
- Assist management with financial reviews, cost control initiatives and business performance evaluations.
- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants and Chartered Accountancy firms when required.
- Support the implementation of stronger internal control systems and governance frameworks.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or a related field.
- Part qualification or full qualification in CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Finance or Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls and audit procedures.
- Excellent analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and operational locations across Sri Lanka.
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, mining, quarrying or industrial sectors will be an added advantage.
