JUNIOR SOUS CHEF

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Junior Sous Chef to support the management of daily kitchen operations while ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation. The ideal candidate will assist in leading the culinary team, maintaining operational efficiency, and delivering outstanding dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in supervising and leading the kitchen team, including training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Support menu planning and development, introducing seasonal and creative dishes while maintaining quality and cost control.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory, ordering, and waste management.
  • Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation through regular quality checks.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
  • Work closely with the Front Office and other teams to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve food-related concerns professionally.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in a high-volume, fine dining kitchen.
  • Proven experience in kitchen operations, menu development, and team supervision.
  • Strong culinary leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Good knowledge of food safety standards, cost control, and kitchen management systems.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
