ASSISTANT MANAGER – DEPOSITS MOBILIZATION
Locations: Gampaha, Negombo, Kurunegala, Galle, Pettah, Kiribathgoda, Maharagama, Nugegoda, and Piliyandala
As an Assistant Manager – Deposits Mobilization, you will be responsible for driving deposit growth by acquiring and managing customers, expanding the branch deposit portfolio, promoting Fixed Deposits, Recurring Deposits, and Savings products, and achieving assigned business targets. The role requires building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service while contributing to the overall growth and success of the branch. You will report directly to the Head of Deposits and be part of a dynamic team within the non-banking financial services sector. This position offers an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding and progressive career within the organization.
The ideal candidates should possess the following profile:
THE JOB ROLE
- Manage and grow the branch deposit portfolio in line with business targets.
- Drive the growth of Fixed Deposits (FDs), Recurring Deposits (RDs), and Savings products through effective business development initiatives.
- Identify, acquire, and onboard new customers to expand the branch's deposit base
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering professional and responsive service
- Achieve assigned business targets while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Promote the organization's deposit products and services within the local market to drive business growth.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent qualification in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field from a recognized university or professional institute.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in deposits mobilization within a banking or non-banking financial institution.
- Strong sales, business development, and relationship management skills with a proven ability to achieve business targets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Previous experience in banking, financial services, or sales will be a distinct advantage.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and customer-focused with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
