EXPORT COORDINATOR
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Building strong business relationships with potential new clients O exploit new market opportunities in different global geographics
- Maintain a high level of business relationship with existing buyers and ensure that each buyer account continues to grow
- Handling all export shipments to meet expected business timelines
- Negotiating documented agreements for the delivery and management of products
- Assist in bulk preparation to be sent out to customers
- Manage daily correspondence related to production and sales functions
- Troubleshoot challengers during the order management process and work with respective cross-functional partners, supply chains, and vendors to deliver the best product solutions
- Work with design and product development to develop and cross-develop styles and raw materials to offer new products to customers
- Record and monitor the stock of resources
- Ability and availability to function in different time zones as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree / Diploma or professional qualification (CIM, SLIM, CIMA etc.) equivalent qualification from a recognized university/institute in the relevant field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Experience as a merchandiser in the apparel industry will be an added advantage
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Sinhala languages are a must and being fluent in other languages will be an added advantage
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork
- Good at organizing, planning, time management, and multi-tasking
