INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS MANAGER
We are looking for a reliable International Logistics Manager to be responsible for logistic, inventory transport and distribution management. The goal is to manage the entire Control of warehouse inventory by coordinating movement of product from production to warehouse to shipping.
Responsibilities
- Overall coordination between the company departments and carrier account managers.
- Coordinate lost and damaged shipments with internal stakeholders, carrier and insurance company
- Gathering the reports from carriers checking their correctness uploading to QS and reworking the data.
- Approve inventory corrections
- Handling confidential matters with utmost trust and professionalism
- Liaising with BOI officials on import & export documents verifications
- Maintain & update instructions
- Implementing new processes and monitoring them across the concerned departments.
Job Specifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or supply chain management
- Total 5 years Experience in logistics with 3 years in a managerial position.
- Experience in the manufacturing field preferred.
- Knowledge in customs clearance in Sri Lanka and transport Management
- Excellent knowledge in using MS Office
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Sinhala/Tamil
- A team Player
- Knowledge in SAP ERP System
