As a
Tech Lead
We are EAM Maliban Textiles, one of the leading apparel manufacturers in Sri Lanka. The IT Team of EAM Maliban Group plays a critical role in ensuring smooth operations, productivity, and profitability. The service we provide typically involves the use of technology & software applications to automate and support the various functions of the Company, from production ERP to sales and finance.
We are in search for a PASSIONATE PERSON who is looking for a long-term career to
join EAM Maliban IT team in the below capacity.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the design and architecture of software solutions, ensuring those align with business goals and are scalable and maintainable.
Evaluate and choose appropriate technologies and tools for the development projects.
Act as a hands-on developer, contributing to the codebase and setting coding standards for the team. Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices. Provide leadership and guidance to the development team, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Mentor junior developers, helping them grow in their technical skills and career development. Distribute tasks among team members based on their strengths and project requirements.
- Collaborate with BA team to plan and estimate development tasks, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Act as a technical problem-solver, addressing challenges and roadblocks that arise during the development process.
Develop and implement robust testing strategies to ensure software quality and reliability.
Effectively communicate technical concepts and project updates to non-technical stakeholders. Proactively identify potential risks to project timelines or quality and take actions to mitigate them. Develop contingency plans for addressing unforeseen issues during the development process.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize development processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. Encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the development team. Implement and enforce security measures to protect software applications and sensitive data.
- Ensure that the development process complies with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Individual Profile
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Should possess more than 5 years of experience in full stack software development.
- Extensive knowledge with hands on experience in Angular 9, Typescript, and ASP.Net Core 2.
Experience in databases, web development frameworks, and other relevant technologies.
Advance knowledge of front end tools - HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, J-Query, AJAX, HTML 5, JSON and more. Knowledge of development tools, version control systems, and testing frameworks.
Proven experience as a Tech Lead or a similar role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational & multitasking skills.
Experience in apparel industry is an added advantage.
