Manager - Operations

Pidilite Lanka (Private) Limited is a leading manufacturing company having it's factory at Polgahawela EPZ. Pidilite Lanka is a joint venture company between Pidilite Industries and Macbertan Holdings Ltd.
To manage
- The candidate should be professionally qualified in Mechanical Engineering and is expected to manage the overall operations of the factory.
Duties will include -
- Overseeing factory operations & achieving organizational goals while adhering to all the requirements of EHS, QMS & Statutory norms.
- Initiating measures for delivering desired output, enhancing production capacity when needed as well as productivity. Driving quality performance of the unit by identifying trends, and implementing preventative actions.
- Overseeing the outsourced manufacturing functions.
- Overseeing the inbound/outbound distribution function for the organization.
- Ensuring the availability of sufficient stocks to meet the organizational objectives.
- Managing minimization of repair & maintenance costs, safeguarding & maintenance of assets & good housekeeping.
- Proactively coordinating & supporting the central project team to implement modification, expansion, & new projects in the factory.
Qualification & Experience: -
- BSc. in Mechanical Engineering with at least 8 - 12 years experience in Factory Operations Management.
- Previous experience in Manufacturing Operations in a BOI Zone would be an added advantage. Candidates with Manufacturing Experience in the Coating Industry or FMCG Industry preferred.
- Hands-on experience in ERP Systems is a must and exposure to SAP S4 HANA will be an added advantage.
The remuneration package will be based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
