EXPORT EXECUTIVE
We are looking for a motivated Export Executive with a passion for international trade and a keen understanding of the US and Middle East markets. The ideal candidate will have exposure to exporting food products and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a young professional to develop their skills and contribute to our company's growth strategy. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research and analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and regulatory requirements in the US and Middle East markets.
- Identify and evaluate potential opportunities for exporting food products from Sri Lanka and India to the US markets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, distributors, and government agencies, to facilitate smooth export operations.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including production, quality assurance, and logistics, to ensure timely delivery of products and compliance with export regulations.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and terms of sale with customers and partners.
Monitor and track shipments, documentation, and payments to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations.
Provide regular updates and reports to management on export performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field.
Previous experience or internship in export operations, preferably in the food industry.
Knowledge of export regulations, documentation requirements, and Incoterms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English (additional languages such as Arabic would be a plus).
Proven ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
