Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Cayo Dental Hospital, Koshinna, Gelioya, Kandy, Sri Lanka.

Overview:

Cayo Dental Hospital is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to- day operations of our dental hospital. The Operations Manager will play a key role in ensuring the efficient functioning of the hospital, optimizing patient care processes, and maintaining high standards of service delivery. This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of Cayo Dental Hospital, including appointment scheduling, patient flow management, and coordination of clinical and administrative activities.
  • Maintain high standards of patient care and customer service by implementing effective operational processes and workflows.
  • Supervise and support administrative staff, dental assistants, and other clinic personnel, ensuring adequate staffing levels and effective resource allocation.
  • Coordinate staff schedules, workload assignments, and performance evaluations to optimize team productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage facility maintenance, cleanliness, and organization to create a welcoming and professional environment for patients and staff.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of dental supplies, equipment, and materials, ensuring adequate stock levels and efficient procurement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards, patient confidentiality, and documentation protocols.
  • Oversee billing, payment processing, and insurance claims to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
  • Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement quality assurance initiatives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in dental clinic management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in healthcare or dental practice management, with at least 1+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of dental clinic operations, including appointment scheduling, patient flow management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in dental practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and quality assurance.
