Michelin Lanka Private Limited (formerly Camso Loadstar Private Limited) manufactures and exports specialized tires, tracks, wheels, and ancillary products to customers around the world, catering to the demands of material handling and construction industrial needs, which includes both original equipment and replacement markets. Michelin Lanka operates with over 5000 employees in 14 sites in the country.
ENGINEERING MECHANIC- Fitter
The mission of the engineering mechanic (Fitter) is to "To perform all types of general fitting related activities in engineering project adhering to safety culture in the factory.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing the blueprints for mechanical systems constructed.
- Determine the specifications of the components to be
- Inspecting fabricated components to ensure that they are the correct size, shape, and position.
- Utilizing shears, power saws, cutting torches, and chipper knives to cut structural components as needed.
- Performing Periodic Maintenance of machines and Power Transmission systems.
- Conducting diagnostic testing on malfunctioning systems to determine the root cause of the malfunctions.
- Replacing damaged or defective structural components as needed.
Requirements:
- You have Passed G.C.E O/L
- You hold a NVQ Level 4 in General Fitting or equivalent.
- You have 2 years' experience in relevant field
- You have good communication (Sinhala and basic English) and interpersonal skills
