Manager - Vessels Operations
In response to a rapidly expanding and competitive market within the operations field, McLarens Logistics Ltd seeks a motivated, dynamic person who can strengthen and lead the Vessels Operations team in order to achieve desired objectives.
The successful candidate should possess a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the following areas.
- Ship Planning (Container Vessel Operations)
- Experience in handling Vessel husbandry services to vessels calling all port of Sri Lanka
- (Ship Crew change, Ship spares delivery, Supply of Provisions, Cash to Master, Bunker supply etc.,)
- Ship agency services handling casual callers/tramp vessels tankers, in all ports in Sri Lanka
- Conversant in handling PMS work
- Ship Documentation handling & familiar in ICOMPASS 8.2 system.
- Coordination with Ports Authority, Customs & related Authorities
Ideal candidate should possess GCE (A/L) qualifications. In addition, industry-related professional qualifications (ICS/CASA) would greatly enhance their candidacy. Strong Interpersonal relationships, Computer Literacy in handling Microsoft Office Packages and excellent communication skills particularly in written and spoken English are essential. Should have the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and contribute to the Company's business development endeavors is also, essential.
