Established in 2014, LAUGFS International (Pvt) Ltd is the trading arm of LAUGFS Holdings. In partnership with the world renowned Yamaha Motor Co., Japan, LAUGFS International made its entry into the power products market as the authorised agent for Yamaha Power Products.

LAUGFS International is also the authorised dealer for internationally acclaimed AIRMAN products in Sri Lanka, with its exclusive showroom featuring generators, air compressors, and scissor lifts, manufactured at the AIRMAN factory in Nigata, Japan.

We are looking for a Business Development Executive for our Yamaha, Airman, and Yanmar Generator division. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers and use these relationships to achieve your monthly sales quota.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you close the deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service. Business Development Executive

Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and close the sale
  • Report to the Sales Manager on weekly & monthly sales results
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development executive, Sales Account Executive, or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Familiarity with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • A valid motorcycle and light vehicle driver's license
