SENIOR LOCAL CUSTOMER SERVICE EXECUTIVE

GRI is a leading specialty tire producer in Sri Lanka. We have been supplying tires to more than 100 countries worldwide since 2002. GRI has sales offices in the United States, Europe and Australia. We produce high-performance tires for Agriculture, Material Handling, and Construction vehicles.

We are on the lookout for an exceptionally self-motivated and driven individual, with high levels of energy, a deep passion for Talent Development, and above all, the perseverance to win, as Senior Local Customer Service Executive.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for our local customer base, providing responsive and proactive assistance throughout the order fulfillment process.
  • Order Management: Oversee the end-to-end order management process, including order entry, confirmation, tracking, and delivery scheduling, to meet customer expectations and deadlines.
  • Board of Investment Documentation: Manage and coordinate all documentation and paperwork required to gain BOI approvals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timely submission of necessary paperwork.
  • Customer Support: Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide accurate information and solutions to ensure a positive customer experience and build long-term relationships.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the local sales manager and all internal departments, including production, logistics, and finance, to coordinate order fulfillment activities, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of products to customers. Ability to be a team player.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records of customer orders, transactions, and communications, as well as government board of investment documentation, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of 2 to 3 years in customer service, order management, or related roles, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment or a BOI organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and proficiency in Sinhala will be a definite plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and government officials.
  • Knowledge of government regulations and procedures related to BOI documentation is an advantage.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with specific expertise in MS excel and experience with ERP or CRM systems is a plus.
