Home Lands Constructions, the specialised construction arm of the Home Lands Group of Companies, is looking for new recruits for its latest high-rise building project in Colombo. We invite qualified candidates to apply for the positions mentioned below.
- CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
- ⚫ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification with overall 15 years of experience.
- ⚫ Minimum of 05 years proven track record of effectively managing complex apartment projects.
- ⚫ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- ⚫ Good knowledge in building MEP works.
- ⚫ Excellent computer literacy is necessary (including MS Office & MS Project).
- ⚫ Good PR skills to liaise with consultants.
- ⚫ Male candidates below 45 years.
- PLANNING ENGINEER
- ⚫ Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 05 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in a multi-story apartments, hotels, or mass housing projects.
- ⚫ Thorough knowledge in apartment construction industry in Sri Lanka is vital.
- ⚫ Skills in project scheduling using analytical software (MS Project or similar), resources planning/critical path analysis.
- ⚫ Good command in both Sinhala & English languages.
- ⚫ Male candidates below 45 years.
- QUANTITY SURVEYOR
- ⚫ Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of Moratuwa or diploma from any recognized university or institute.
- ⚫ Minimum Six (06) years of experience in apartment construction projects.
- ⚫ Hands-on experience in Auto CAD & MS Office is a must.
- ⚫ Hands-on experience in ERP/SAP systems & MS Office package is a must.
- ⚫ Male candidates below 40 years will be preferred.
- HEALTH & SAFETY OFFICER
- ⚫ GCE A/L with, Six (06) months Construction Safety & Occupational Health (CSOH) Diploma Course conducted by CIDA or a Diploma in CSOH of Six (06) months recognized by CIDA.
- ⚫ Minimum Five (05) years of experience in the similar capacity in a reputed company.
- • Experience in High Rise Building Construction industry will be preferred.
- • Knowledge of scaffolding will be an added advantage.
- ⚫ Excellent interpersonal and good communication skills in Sinhala, English and proficiency in MS office package.
- ⚫ Knowledge in ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 & ISO 9001 will be an added advantage.
- . Male candidates age Below 45 years.
- QUALITY ASSURANCE/QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER
- ⚫ Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 05 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in multi-story apartments, hotels or mass housing project.
- ⚫ Should be able to establish and manage a modern QA/QC management system for multiple projects.
- • Good command in both Sinhala & English languages.
- ⚫ Male candidates below 40 years.
- MEP ENGINEER
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in MEP Engineering minimum 05 years of experience in apartment projects.
- ⚫ Exposure to Electrical/Plumbing and other MEP services.
- ⚫ Male candidates below 40 years.
- SITE ACCOUNTANT
- A Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting from a recognized university.
- Minimum experience of Five (05) years in a similar position at a construction company.
- Familiarity with relevant accounting software.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.
- • Ability to work long hours collaboratively and independently.
- Male candidates below 40 years will be preferred.
- CONSTRUCTION SITE ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
- ⚫ Should have passed G.C.E. (A/L) & G.C.E. (O/L) with at least 05 credit passes including English & Mathematics.
- ⚫ Preference will be given to ex-military officers with experience in handling similar assignments. Minimum 02 years of experience in the construction field is highly considered.
- Hands-on experience in MS Office package is a must.
- ⚫ Excellent communication skills in both Sinhala & English language and interpersonal skill.
- ⚫ Male candidates below 50 years will be preferred.
- STORE KEEPER
- ⚫ Should have passed G.C.E. (A/L) & G.C.E. (O/L) with at least 05 credit passes including English & Mathematics.
- Academic qualification from a recognized institute in store management will be an added advantage.
- Overall Eight (08) years of experience in a similar capacity and minimum of Three (03) years of experience in the construction field is essential.
- Computer literacy is compulsory with sound knowledge in MS Office and MS Excel.
- ⚫ Experience in SAP system will be an added advantage.
- ⚫ Should be a male candidate below 45 years.
- Should be willing to work extended hours.
