Job Description

- Create and develop accurate patterns from design sketches and specifications. Collaborate with designers and sample makers to produce prototypes and samples.
- Make necessary adjustments to patterns based on fitting sessions and feedback.
- Provide technical support to the production team, ensuring patterns are correctly interpreted and executed. Perform grading to create patterns in different sizes, ensuring consistency in fit and style.
- Inspect patterns and samples for quality and accuracy, making improvements as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of patterns, alterations, and specifications.
- Utilize pattern-making software (e.g., Gerber, Lectra) for digital pattern creation and modification.
- Work closely with designers, merchandisers, and production teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of designs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pattern making within the apparel industry.
- Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, or a related field.
- Proficiency in pattern-making software (Gerber, Lectra, etc.), strong understanding of garment construction, and excellent technical drawing skills.
- Keen eye for detail and precision in pattern development and garment fitting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with different departments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve issues related to pattern accuracy and garment fit.
