- Our factories located at Madampe (Chilaw) are equipped with modern machinery to produce internationally accepted Coir-based Substrates (Growing Media) and allied products.
Job Description:
We are calling applications for the following vacancies at our Head office in Moratuwa from individuals who possess the following requirements.
Procurement Executive:
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality standards, best prices, delivery time, reliability and other relevant factors.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and credit terms to support a cost-effective approach.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and other relevant parties in the supply chain.
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels to balance the cost of holding inventory against the risk of stockouts.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar capacity.
- A degree/diploma in Supply Chain Management would be a distinct advantage.
- Strong negotiation, communication skills and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in procurement.
- Computer literacy (MS Office and email/internet).
