Assistant Manager - Procurement (Dankotuwa)
A subject matter expert, who knows to strike the ideal balance between the ask of the business and the offering of the external stakeholders.
- Develop new sourcing strategies for indirect procurement and will engage in assessment and reassessment of supplier service levels.
- Identify potential suppliers to cater indirect materials and services, negotiate contracts and maintain strategic relationships.
- Align with budgetary limits and ensure that all procurement activities are conducted in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Identify trends and opportunities, and recommend process improvements to enhance the procurement function.
Who We Want
- A domain expert with a minimum of 3-4 years in similar capacity and having procurement exposure in Indirect Procurement will be an added advantage.
- A strong negotiator with the ability to monitor & drive supply chain performance.
- A data-driven analytical thinker.
- Sound knowledge on SAP or other MRP system(s).
- Good at Stakeholder Management and Negotiation.
- High in Execution orientation
