We provide direct employment to over 1000 dedicated personnel who are professionals and veterans of their relevant disciplines of work. In order to facilitate the growing needs of HR Services to all our internal and external customers we are offering a great opportunity for suitable candidates to join our team.

The positions are based at our Head Office in Boralesgamuwa and will require periodic visits to the branch offices Islandwide.

UMAN RESOURCES

MANAGER – HUMAN RESOURCES (2 positions)

The position carries with it a high level of accountability in delivering all aspects of Human Resource Management aligning to the organizations key strategies and priorities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Total Recruitment process from identifying manpower requirement to the subsequent filling up of the positions
  • Aligning HR Systems, processes and policies to the Company HR strategy and ensure effectiveness and appropriate use of same for continuous improvement
  • Manage performance appraisal process
  • Overall management of the Training & Development function
  • Effective handling of employee relations and ensure workplace harmony
  • Provides periodic HR reports pertaining to the Senior Management decision making
  • Work effectively with multi-disciplinary internal teams to ensure successful achievement of organizational KPIs

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and/or a Professional Qualification in HRM (preferably CIPM, NIBM) Minimum of 5 years' experience in similar capacity
  • A thorough understanding of labour law and domestic inquiry process
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
  • Very good communication skills in English, Sinhala (Tamil will be a definite advantage)
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Computer literacy with a good knowledge of excel
  • Experience in working on an HRIS system is essential (preferably hSenid)
