SENIOR EXECUTIVE/ EXECUTIVE - RISK

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the business units in assessing their risks, review/update business unit risk profile and related documentation.
- Assist to implement risk management policies and procedures as per the statutory requirements of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) and other regulatory authorities with the recommendation/approval of the Board Integrated Risk Management Committee (BRIMC).
- Assist to conduct risk assessments to evaluate the likelihood and potential impact of identified risks. Assist to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies based on assessment findings.
- Assist in establishing mechanisms for ongoing monitoring of identified risks and reporting to BIRMC periodically.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the banking/financial services sector in a similar capacity preferably in Risk Management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Statistics/MIS/Business Analytics or equivalent professional qualification.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Good written/oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Be a team player with the ability to work proactively with internal customers.
